Transitional kindergarten is a two year kindergarten program meant to support students who are eligible for kindergarten (five by July 31st), but are not academically and/or socially ready to be successful in a traditional kindergarten setting. The program also supports children who have just missed the Nebraska age guideline for entrance into kindergarten (five by August 1st – October 15th). Through a combination of prekindergarten and kindergarten curriculum, the program intends to help every child be on grade level by third grade, if not sooner. New family registration begins 2/12/24. Need not be a member of the STM parish or any Consortium parish to apply.
