Tuition Assistance

The Children's Scholarship Fund (CSF)

Children’s Scholarship Fund provides families assistance with tuition costs.  Applications can be found on their website at www.csfomaha.org and in the School Office beginning on in February of each year.  Completed applications and accompanying documentation must be submitted to St. Thomas More School Office by the designated day in April.

Tuition Assistance Program (TAP)

In addition to Children’s Scholarship, families at St. Thomas More may be eligible to participate in our own Tuition Assistance Program.  All families interested in receiving assistance with this program must first submit an application for Children’s Scholarship.  The Tuition Assistance Program was developed by St. Thomas More Parish to assist families with paying tuition at St. Thomas More School.  The program is funded by raising money and collecting donations to help current and future St. Thomas More students with their tuition needs.  The program is administered and overseen by the St. Thomas More pastor and staff.  Awards are based on financial need. 
 
For the coming school year, eligibility for a T.A.P. award requires three steps.  These are:
 
1.     Complete and submit the Children’s Scholarship Fund application to the St. Thomas More School Office the designated day in April.  Applications are available on-line at www.csfomaha.org or in the school office.
 
2.     Complete and submit the FAIR application the designated day in April.  Applications are available online at www.fairapp.com and in the School Office. When using the online application use our school code 142 and password stmcs142.
 
3.     Work at least two events to raise funds for T.A.P.  These events include:
 
- Purchase at least $500 of Scrip by June prior to the school year
- Work a designated shift at the Parish 3-on-3 Basketball Tournament
- Work a designated shift at the Parish Dinner held in November
- Work a designated shift at the Parish Peddler’s Market Fund Raiser
- Work a designated shift at the Parish Festival held in June

Omaha Catholic School Consortium Aid

OCSC scholarships may be become available for families who are not selected for Children’s Scholarship or T.A.P.  Complete and submit the Children’s Scholarship Fund application by the designated day in April.
